From the very beginning these two were such a joy to work with. When you ask Lili what her favorite color is, she answers rainbow and that warmth and personality reflects in everything she does. First of all, if you haven't been to check it out, get yourself to Blockhouse in Downtown Portland and take a look around. The contemporary feel of the kitchen area paired with the lushness of Pomarius nursery as the ceremony space, this space is one of a kind. A real way to take an intimate smaller wedding and give it real character.
The couple shared a first look in Forest Park before arriving at Blockhouse and Bride carried gorgeous flowers by New Seasons and beauty by Jess Soul Beauty.
L&J arrived at Blockhouse and Jacob had a little surprise for Lili. He popped on his wedding shoes with rainbow shoelaces to match her equally amazing shoes. He was so excited to surprise her and it was such a sweet moment!
The ceremony was so wonderful and officiated by our fave of all faves Melissa Coe!
Then came cocktail hour with yummies by Crave Catering, flipping the ceremony space to a lounge space, and most importantly, GOATS. Portland Goat Parties was in attendance with the cutest and floofiest little babies for guests to love on and pose with. We were totally obsessed with this and it was SO much fun to coordinate and watch guests enjoy some little baby goat snugs.
A delicious dinner was served Crave Catering and the couple kept their table design simple and clean with greenery runners and neutral napkins. Then everybody got to partying and dancing and ended the night with a super fun glow stick send off to bring in more rainbow shine.
We loved not only the originality of this couple, but their love. Weddings don't have to be big to be impactful and these two sure knew how to throw a party. So grateful to have been a part of it!
