So you remember how last summer there was this brief moment when the weather was amazing and COVID numbers were low??? ME TOO. A bad ass group of vendors all came together and had some masked fun on this shoot that was later featured on Wedding Chicks! Click here for the feature and scroll for the journey to make it. :)
All photos by D. Selbak Photography who is one of my most fave photographers and also one of my soulmates in this life! Come! Ogle her work!

First of all, how dreamy is this venue ? I was so pumped to get to style Domaine De Broglie and kick off what we are hoping is an amazing season of events there. If you haven't checked it out, stop what you are doing and get out there. Not only for the delicious wine, but also the coolest atmosphere. The whole winery is centered around the science of making wine with all sorts of incredible relics that belong to Francis Ford Coppola himself! You go from high end modern to luxurious outdoor space in just a few steps.
I really wanted to play with a color explosion and painted baby's breath was stuck in my head so I brought in the floral genius Scarlet Blooms who always go along with my wild ideas. Pretty much the whole thing came from the first time I saw this car....I mean, who doesn't want to throw a ton of floral in it and style the most gorgeous model on the planet?? BUT more on that later.....
See, the best part of styled shoots is getting to play with mixed rentals and color palettes that we don't usually get to style and really exercise and stretch our creative muscles. So Allison with Scarlet Blooms ran wild with the palette and created this RAD hanging install to go with a decked out table. Rentals from Party Place came together with super cool place cards from Letters and Dust with lush florals and a royal blue velvet table runner to make a super cool table. And that backdrop...swoon.
Also this invite suite deserves its own moment.....
Oh and so does this bouquet!!!
Fun story about finding velvet table runners during a pandemic is that you...can't. Ha! I ordered like 10 of them and they all canceled orders right after I placed it. Finally found this one and even though it was the wrong size, I was over the moon to have it!
Our perfect model Amber Nicotra was dressed in a gorgeous Martina Liana gown from The White Dress and her beauty was expertly crafted by our faves Blossom and Beauty.
So...I like to drink on my styled shoots. They are times when I get to be without my kids, with my vendor friends and just create, and this shoot was no different! What was different, is the fact that I was still breastfeeding my son, so I got to introduce everyone to the super loud giant breast pump in the great wide open of the grape vines and the joy of being a mom. Haha! Never a dull moment with meeeeeee.
This dessert set up with Lux Sucre was drop dead gorgeous too. I totally lived for this cakeeeeeee and also...I got to eat a ton of these treats on the way home. BTS moment: I totally dropped one of these acrylic boxes on the way to my car even AFTER Katie, the amazing events manager at Domaine De Broglie asked if she could help me and I TOLD HER NO. Ugh..... but the Lux team forgave me. I felt so terrible! Y'all, the LS team is just the best.
We closed out the shoot with everyone's dream of styling this car. It is the original car from Is Paris Burning and man is it cool. AND if you book your wedding there, you can use it! You can decorate it, have photos in it, all of the things. Highly Recommend.
